    The hat is a perfectly acceptable piece of cheap headwear, it's well-enough made for a piece of plastic clothing and it looks exactly as illustrated ... but the description very clearly states that it is "genuine leather". It is hard to imagine that someone who sells hats for a living can't tell the difference between plastic and leather, certainly I had no problem doing so. The hat itself is not marked anywhere as "genuine leather" so the error/inaccuracy/deceit lies with the vendor.
