The CM1 Teal is a fantastic mic for beginners AND seasoned pros. Teal has an edge-terminated capsule like an AKG 251 with transformer-less FET output, lovely on vocals (particularly soft and/or female) and just gorgeous on acoustic guitar. The estimate was a month. So, all in all, great purchase and great microphone. It is not going to give you that crisp high so popular in modern pop music, but it gives that classic vocal sound that sits well in a mix, and takes plugins and eq very well. Incredible value for the money. I'm happy I bought it!
