Proceedings of the 11th ASCE Engineering Mechanics Conference, held in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, May 20-22, 1996. Sponsored by the Engineering Mechanics Division of ASCE. Keynote papers address new trends in biomechanics, basic concepts and application of structural control, and recent advances in environmental fluid mechanics.
