Upon opening the box and removing the UPS device the front cover plate had somehow become detached frm the main body of the device. The rear wall of the device was caved in and both elect plugs were bent. I was able to straighten the elect plugs to the point that I am able to use them , I didnt even attempt to correct the real wall as this wld req taking the UPS apart. I plugged it in, powered it up it works.
