Anyway, a week after the latest date I contacted the seller who indicated that the Canadian post had returned the parcel the first time. After a few chats, they refunded me and told me it was still in the mail and might arrive. It did, eventually, and the item looks good and works as intended. Still, don't buy if you're in Ireland.
