It started as bit of fun following a long standing desire to record country blues, ragtime, jug, gospel and vaudeville material from the 1920s and 30s and has developed into one of the most sought after groups on the Jazz Club circuit (with forays into Folk Clubs as well). The Jake Leg Jug Band returns with it's second CD on the LAKE label. The material is gleaned from the same sources as before with slightly more leaning towards the 1930s. Of their previous album, Next Stop, Blues Matters Magazine said "An enthralling and hugely enjoyable collection on offer. Recommended!"
