Product Information
A high-spirited tale of a rebellious teenage girl in 1950s Britian who energetically flouts the repressive sexual mores of her working-class seaside town. 16-year-old Lynda enjoys shocking her neighbors with her foul mouth and lascivious behavior, but underneath her flamboyantly cheeky facade is a lonely girl still suffering from the loss of her mother at an early age. No one in the town understands Lynda's desperate need to challenge conventions -- least of all Lynda's widowed dad.
