The problem was that the ad said that the device supports thunderbolt, and it definitely does not. My monitor could not “see” my devices. Possibly the specific unit was malfunctioning, because it caused the power supply, or possibly the USB controller on a computer of mine to burn out, and it’s not going to resurrect. So the low price suddenly got high. But how would seller know that?
