It does allow my Cane Reed to vibrate/optimally with a full round warm core-ringing sound from top to mid to bottom of my Tenor Sax Mpc/Horn!! I did want to mention that this Ligature come to me with the Single Bottom Fastening Screw & Nut on BACKWARDS?? I was able to correct this with no issue
