This RAID card does NOT require a license. It has the normal RAID functionality as described and was tested to be sure. Dell does offer an Advanced Features License but like any PREMIUM feature in the world today, you have to pay for those Premium features and you have to buy it directly from Dell. Like Basic Cable and Premium Channels or iDrac Express and iDrac Enterprise. This Negative is unfounded and way off base.
