It basically addresses one simple, but profound fact - we are all mortal and will one day have to address our mortality as we approach our final days on earth. As the author attests, the medical community has been taught well the various medical procedures to keep us alive. But they seem to be somewhat inept in dealing with our "end times." I thank the author for this reality check.
