As I will not buy a new laptop which will cost me at least one thousand dollars, I can then use the Linux USB stick to migrate from m.s. to Linux. This will not happen in the immediate future. I think windows 10 would still be good to use until end of next. Thanks. l

Buyer beware.novosa 的回覆- 賣家 novosa 回應的信用評價- 賣家 novosa 回應的信用評價Sorry for the late reply, I don't always see messages right away but i'm happy to help when i do, The black screen after the install attempt usually means the computer shut down or kept trying to boot from the USB. This isn’t harmful—remove the USB and restart to return to normal. If you want to install Zorin, the “install failed” message is often due to a computer setting. Common fixes: turn off Secure Boot, switch boot mode (UEFI/Legacy), or use “Try Zorin” to run it live without installing.
