Printing images stored on your smartphones and cameras has been made easier thanks to the Canon SELPHY CP910 Dye-sublimation printer. This compact device is lightweight convenient and can be taken just about anywhere. It has a wireless setup with built-in Wi-Fi so you don’t have to connect your devices in order to print. If a network isn’t available Access Point Mode lets you print from Wi-Fi-enabled devices. Otherwise you can use the flash drive port or memory card slot.The Canon digital photo printer has a portable design made for on-the-move photographers and it’s available in black or white. It weighs a mere 1.8 lbs and is only 2.4 inches tall by 7 inches wide. There are some accessories that make things easier on users. A 2.7-inch LCD screen that can tilt up sits on top of the printer. It also has a full-color display that lets you view search and edit images without ever connecting to a computer. Additionally the printers work with memory cards and USB flash drives. You can even use the flash media directly on your camera to print thanks to the onboard card reader.Although you can link up with desktops or laptops accessories like the AirPrint and Access Point Mode lessen that need. If you choose to connect to a computer know that the SELPHY works with OS Windows and Mac. By using Apple AirPrint you get a wireless sync with compatible iPad iPhone or iPod touch devices. These printers also support wireless Google Cloud Print and Canon’s Mobile Printing making them compatible with other tablets and smartphones. Canon’s free app also allows for compatibility with Windows RT devices. Further accessories and supplies include a paper cassette that is postcard-sized a compact power adapter and CD-ROM software for computers. The power adapter is 100-240 volts (50/60 Hz). It has optional battery support that requires a CG-CP200 charger adapter. For ink and paper Canon offers a few standard sets that have the right fit for this printer.Even with the CP910’s compact package it delivers vivid high-quality prints of up to 300 by 300 dpi resolution. Each photo is printed on 4 by 6 sheets of paper. You can choose to add separate smaller images on a single photo and cut them out. To maintain this type of quality the SELPHY CP910 utilizes dye-sublimation technology. This technology makes it so that each printed photo is lovely whether it is in black and white or color. Canon also ensures that photos printed are both water-resistant and can last for up to 100 years. There are a number of other features in the SELPHY printer that improves the quality of each photo it prints. It has a built-in red-eye correction that automatically catches and enhances flash photographs stricken with the dreaded red-eye. Canon has also implemented Portrait Image Optimize. This feature uses automatic facial detection and correction to fix images that come out dark due to backlighting. There's even borderless printing which gives you edge-to-edge prints across the entire paper. To top it off you don’t have to wait long to get your photos once you begin printing. A postcard size image can take your printer about 47 seconds to complete.
