Bended Bias is an exciting embellishment that can be added to appliqud or pieced quilts wherever you like. Patterns for more than two dozen appliqu flowers are included, with suggestions for where you might place Bended Bias on the flowers. Other Patterns, in Linda's signature style, include butterflies, a dragonfly, hummingbirds and other designs. Bias tape is easily made by cutting a bias strip from a piece of fabric and running it through a bias-tape maker, a simple little tool found wherever notions are sold. For striking effect, Bended Bias can be made from contrasting fabric. Consider, for instance, the possibility of making bias tape from a wild tiger pint and using it to edge an appliqud tiger lily.
