Product Information
The Acer X1220H model belonging to Acer projector X1 series is a lightweight unit weighing 5.73 lbs. The device with its compact dimensions of 11.40 inches wide by 9.20 inches deep by 3.60 inches tall can easily be shelf-mounted or ceiling-mounted to project from the front or rear of the projection screen. A 180-watt Osram lamp giving 5,000 hours of lamp life in normal mode, a 2-watt mono speaker, and an optical zoom lens with 1.1x magnification form the main components of this Acer projector. The Acer X1220H has digital zoom as well, magnifying the image by 2x. Using DLP projection technology, the DLP projector creates a 1.07-billion color palette to yield 1024x768 pixel XGA resolutions with native 4:3 aspect ratio, scaling to a maximum resolution of 1920x1080 and a compatible aspect ratio of 16:9. These features in combination with 2700 lumens brightness and 3,000:1 contrast ratio reproduce projected images that are near replicas of the source images and content, with 85 percent uniformity. Keystone correction on this DLP projector is +/- 40 degrees, minimum projection distance of 3.28 feet projecting a 22.80-inch image while at the maximum projection distance of 39 feet, the projected image size is 300 inches. The Acer projector accepts video and computer signals, has several I/O connectors, and is compatible with Macs, PCs, HDTVs, and other sources.

Imagine my surprise when I was able to locate these NEC projectors for $125 apiece. They are just what I needed.

However, the seller was gracious about returning it.  I am confident that my refund will come after the seller rechecks the product for any possible shipping damage.
