This SC-PM53 unit is most likely the most powerful one of it's size. Speakers give surprising bass and full range clarity. Speakers are rated at 6 ohm resistance to the amp signal, I used my big Panasonic's 3 way speakers rated at 3 ohms (lesser resistance to the signal) and it's just mind blowing. These era of Panasonics were real quality, not like cheap Chinese trash made today.
