For the last 34 years I have been using an Audiilabs 8000A Class A solid sate ampflifier; which is actually a very high quality item. However, the sound quality from the valve/tube amplifier is smoother, rounder and reproduces any kind of music on vinyl superbly. I had been concerned about power output. The Audio;abs 8000A is 50 Watts RMS per channel. This valve amp at up to 12 Watts per channel is more than enough to drive my 8 Ohm studio monitor speakers.
