I was able to tell easily by reaching my hand up from beneath to feel the exhaust blowing out. I'm past my 30 days for a return so now I'm looking at another seller. I'll have to go through the whole process again of disconnecting the rear lower cat to get at this rear engine cat. I guess you get what you pay for and gamble with these bargain cats.
