They were so heavily used that the methods suggested by Samsung to clean the bud failed. After a lot of tries and searching, I finally found a way to fix the muffled sound with hydrogen peroxide! Then I wrote the seller that they should list the buds as "Used" (and untested) and not "Open box" but I was ignored. Not recommended
