FYI- for future reference you might want to be sure the knob is tightened very tight because when it arrived, the knob was loose and jiggling around, but was still on the lid. I mentioned this because with another seller, I had the knob fall off the lid and drop into the pot and roll around on the enamel surface. I guess they loosen up during the shipping process. Very pleased with purchase and recommend seller.
