All new, as described, except 6 of the 8 dinner plates had some noticeable usage scratches. However this is a 30 year old discontinued pattern that we love, so overall - new enough for me. Happy to have found this.

I have over 100 of this item and most are individually in a clear plastic bag. Some may have a hang tag but most do not. What difference does the packaging matter since it is NOT a collectible item? Item was complete as stated by the buyer. No reason for anything less than a POSITIVE feedback! Buyer is too picky!
