If your gears are not banged up make sure cable moves freely, adjusted properly, and add a second spring to to the lock tab. Parts and kit are both OEM we install the kits all of it add a second spring to help the lock drag 2 and a half feet of cable back using a spring with less tensile strength then a ball point pen. Good seller shipped extremely fast.
