This was not reported by the seller. Thankfully, the smell came out after hanging out on my screened in porch for a couple of days. To my knowledge, this item did not have an issue upon shipment. I am always happy to accept returns and I also pay for buyers to make returns. I didn't hear from this customer about this issue, so it's a bit disheartening they left to neutral feedback without giving me a chance to work out a resolution. I am always happy to offer a variety of solutions.
