The impeller is really hard to turn as the walls are messed up. It seems like this very specific pump has an issue of overheating and softening the plastic where the shading coils of this synchronous motor migrated inward and eventually ruined the motor. Couldn't return as the shipper was too slow - arrived completely after return date L I guess for me
