Excellent quality and value for the price. Received in first class condition obviously parcelled with extreme care. Poor condition for a brand new item, tool marks visible on several surfaces, and the wood is quite rough in places, obviously made in a hurry. The sand takes 3 mins and 34 seconds to fall from the upper bulb. Not really a functional time for brewing my favourite tea, I was hoping for closer to 5 mins. I am not very happy with it. I’ll gift it to a friend with autistic kids and I’ll be continuing my search for a more accurate sand timer.
