I always try to pack items carefully, and when this issue was raised I immediately offered a full refund upon return. As the buyer preferred to keep the item, I agreed to a partial refund of £100 instead as a gesture of goodwill, which was accepted. I take customer satisfaction seriously and always do my best to resolve matters promptly and fairly. Unfortunately, on rare occasions, damage can occur during shipping despite best efforts :(
