AK has basically made a proprietary paint that only works with their thinner, and even with their thinner the paint is still gloppy and unpredictable. Unfortunately AK are the only ones that I know of making purpose mixed Russian/Eastern paints so it sort of forces you to try your best to deal with their terrible paint.
