This seller account is definitely using false sales such as mine to boost metrics on their listings. There is no advantage to listings items that are out of stock, as it has the reverse effect on seller metrics that what the buyer suggested. Also, we sell under 100 items daily on eBay so it's <1% of our sales; no reason to play around with eBay metrics. 35 years in business, selling to thousands of records stores. 3 out of 1,000 customers unsatisfied.
