With an estimated three hundred serial killers active in the United States, the threat of their constant ability to communicate is unthinkable. Even more chilling is the serious threat that one serial killer may emerge as leader and activate a FOLLOWING. Agent Ryan Hardy (Kevin Bacon) must do his best to make sure this does not happen and save countless lives. Includes every episode from series 1.

Entertainment Weekly - Both Bacon and Purefoy are so intensely earnest, The Following quickly supersedes its patent SILENCE OF THE LAMBS setup., USA Today - Some plot twists seem implausible at best, others are overdone or gratuitous. But some implausibility comes with the horror/suspense genre, and there's no question Williamson has mastered it--just as there's no question that the match of wills between the wounded Bacon and malevolent Purefoy is exceedingly well played.
