I would try to return it, but in the process of trying to use the drive I damaged it. I should have known better. These sellers don't tell you these are enterprise drives for special use in servers. You cannot use them in a standard laptop or as I wanted to in a USB external drive. I am going to be extremely cautious in the future. I wrote this off as a total loss!
