I like having the extra bars for holding boards, even though I will only be using half of them right now. I actually have 2 pieces of 1 inch square tubing that I will use the rest of the brackets with. That will give me 2 sets of lumber racks instead of just 1 set. Glad to have them. Just need to organize my basement so I can mount them on the wall
