It does not seal closed, so isn't weatherized or waterproof in any way. But it is metal and glass, so has a semi-authentic look. I was originally planning on making a window using two of these with a home-built window casing, but the quality is too low for that, so I placed both on an exterior wall and placed images of the ocean inside.
