Although the seller had added some cardboard under the cooker, it wasn't quite sufficient; using bubble wrap would have provided better protection. Given the discounted price I paid for the pot, I can overlook these minor cosmetic issues, as it functions perfectly well. I wish it had been packaged more securely. I am still satisfied with this purchase
