Don't know how long will it last but for the price I'm happy for it to last for less than a year. Crazy stuff really, its brand new and value is amazing for what you get. It also doesn't really take up much space so looks good.

As far as I can see the data connectors in the adapter are shorter than the power ones - hence the problem. I would not recommend these or general use.
