I would like to point out that UK VAT is removed from all orders that go internationally by eBay automatically, so the price paid is reduced by 20%. The VAT that you pay on import goes to your countries treasury. This is a good thing for the customer and better than the pre 2019 system (when the VAT would go to HMRC)
