For what it's worth, I believe the card condition was accurately shown in the photo and in line with eBay's standards for "Excellent" condition. I would normally ship in a top loader, but from experience, the eBay Standard Envelopes (ESE) can get hung up if the envelope is too thick/rigid. Because of that I used a semi-rigid protector instead of a thicker top loader.
