These replacement pads fit great, and the quality seems good.

Just what the Doctor ordered
This new base was well worth the effort to replacing it. The hinges had pulled out of the original base, making the laptop almost impossible to use. The new base was a perfect match for my model C655D-S5337

We're using it to power / recharge the batteries in our Pop-up tent camper. It easily handles that. It also is able to run a small 5000 btu window AC unit (~4.5 amp). It's not silent, but was definitely quite enough to run at the campground.
