A lost classic brought back to life!
An unbelievable rarity - a 2-strip Technicolor marvel restored from it's original camera negative, lending the film a sparkling clarity that it probably didn't even have in it's original release in 1930!
Great extras - including and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit cartoon - and a simply marvelous package.
The kind of release that gives Criterion the absolutely solid reputation it so richly deserves - if you're interested in early talkies, pre-code Hollywood or movie musicals, this really is a must-have!
