These magnets did the job (holding up an aluminum doubled screen I created to cover an indoor/outdoor fireplace to keep mice and wasps from getting in the vents and other cracks). I'd tried a glue/magnetic strip that wouldn't even stick to the fireplace, let alone hold up a screen; these are holding the screen to the metal fireplace. I'm thinking of purchasing more for another fireplace I have in the front of the house (but the mice haven't found that fireplace...yet; the wasps have).

Unfortunately this item got 'lost' in Dublin Import/Customs although vat +duty was prepaid at time of purchase according to ebay.
Seller was very responsive and kindly and promptly gave full refund.
Pathetic that the Irish importation control center does not seem to bother to check the purchase order details that clearly show the EU duty and vat has been paid and simply stops delivery. Bless you dear seller, I am saddened by how difficult life has become for honest sellers like you!
