With three cross-type AF points, it can reduce blur and deliver incredible images regardless of the lighting conditions. The A55 camera also offers convenience. The infrared sensors around the viewfinder will automatically detect when your eye is in range and initiate the autofocus on its own. Sony achieves all these great features thanks to its translucent mirror technology. The mirror always stays in place, so it doesn't require a moving part.In the world of cameras, the advanced settings and modes on this device make it stand out. The Sony SteadyShot image stabilization technology will compensate for camera movement while keeping your images on an even keel while you move around and take pictures. The Sony dynamic range optimizer will let you get the most detail out of shadows and highlights in a single exposure. The handheld night shot feature gives you a cleaner and sharper nighttime photo. It also features a built-in GPS. Add in the ability to capture HD video, with a 1080/60i full AVCHD or 1080/30p movie mode with continuous AF, and you can take remarkable footage whenever you need it.Additionally, the three-inch LCD screen with 912k dots and 100 percent framing coverage lets you review your shooting work immediately. You can get a quick preview of white balance, focus, depth of field, exposure, and any on-screen displays. The LCD screen also tilts 180 degrees and swivels 270 degrees, so you can still use it while capturing pictures at various angles. Moreover, the electronic viewfinder with a 1.15 million-dot resolution will help you compose your shots.
