This excellent eBay seller promptly mailed this photo on a postcard the city of Mende in the upper Lot River Valley. This is the prefecture of the department of Lozère (the least human inhabited department in France). There is so much open space here. I spent three days in this area between Mende, Florac and Ales. I had some wonderful hikes in this area among the rugged mountains, little hillside villages and breathtaking scenery. I am grateful you were willing to offer this photo. Thank You!!!!

This excellent eBay seller promptly mailed this photo on a postcard of part of the city of Mende along the banks of the Lot River. This wonderful community is in the upper Lot Valley among the rugged mountains approaching the Causses and Cévennes. I spent three days in this area between Mende, Florac and Ales. I had some wonderful hikes in this area among the rugged mountains, little hillside villages and breathtaking scenery. I am so very grateful you were willing to offer this photo. Thank You
