This is really small … a little less than half inch for just the medallion not the hook. I am very disappointed as it was planned for a special event gift. I considered the price high for gold plate on silver but was hoping for a nice quality.

No, this item is LARGER than half an inch. The size specs for the item are provided TWICE in the listing. There is also an image showing the item on an inch grid axis and a photo with various coin sizes for further help to clarify the item's size. The buyer simply didn't review ANY sizing information before making their purchase. How would you know the size of the item you are buying if you don't review this information (or ask for sizing assistance)?!?!?
