This item was probably damaged in transit. The cover was cracked and the small machines that run the projector and the lighting lenses were detached and rattling around. I took it all apart and was able to a get the thing up and running in a couple of hours. I still have to repair the automatic slide advance but the manual advance is OK for now. Slides focusing works. This is an older machine so one can't expect miracles so three stars. The cover can be ductaped once everything is fixed.
