I ordered this to replace my broken steering rack in my 97 mustang. I had it replaced by my mechanic (who discarded the broken rack. 300 miles later my new rack is leaking from the iner tie rod boot. I contacted Detroit Axle to claim my warranty. they refuse to honor it until I send the my (ORIGINAL) broken steering rack. which has been destroyed (scraped) . This is completely ridiculous and I’m very disappointed. I’ve bought many parts from Detroit Axle, never again unless this is resolved.
