Item is a modern version of a vintage Singer part. But it is not well crafted. It will not even fit the sewing machines for which it was made. I contacted the company and strongly suggested that the company remove item from Ebay. The Representative was polite, issued me a refund but did mot protect other buyers from bad product. As far as I know Ebay is still selling the bogus products.
