the packaging was top of class. i could have dropped it from any reasonable height and the glass globe would have been just fine. the globe itself was as described and pictured, a vintage original pyrex with the waves and styrations that indicate such. i found exactly the right piece for that lantern. i wish i could personally thank the seller for finding, the price, and the care. no scratches, nicks, cleaned up fine, no issues under actual heat and use. above AA++. you made my day. and thankyou
