    Looks good. I don't know how to recognize the leather type, but definitely this is better than the cowhide whip I have bought locally for only a little less (and much cheaper postage :-/ ) Both material and manufacture quality. The imperfection is that the leather is dyed only on one side which is visible especially on the wrist loop. Comes with extra fall and cracker, and the belt holder.
