The item description for being from the 1930s was not accurate, the ring on the eyepiece came off while cleaning which showed styrofoam and hot glue. This item was consigned to us by the 2nd generation owner who provided information passed down to them. Plus we were told for the last 15 years that it had been stored in a glass paned cabinet. So no deception was intended. Most of all we offer full refunds on returns because we desire that all our buyers are content with their purchases.
