I bought 4 x 22" monitors to use with this. They weigh about 5 lbs each. When I mounted the bottom 2 it became clear the stand was not going to stay up alone. I ended up taking the base back off and putting a 25lb barbel weight around the bottom of the pole over the base. Works great! Stand is well constructed and has many adjustments.
