Real steel, just like the shield and helmet I bought to complete my museum-like layout. For Rome, I have a gladius, a centurion's helmet, and a full-size shield, painted accurately with the lightning bolts. When friends ask why I have these displays, I tell them that fighting was brutal, and humans can do much, but cannot stop killing each other in any way they can.
